    It's about 5.5 kms from the Railway Station, on the Solapur-Bijapur Highway, and a very peaceful place to live in, though you get to hear a lot of vehicular noise during night-time. New Engineering and Diploma colleges (AG Patil IT and Polytechnic, VVP Polytechnic IT) have come up in the vicinity making the area all the more important.
